Polar Bears Past Bedtime – in Churchill, Manitoba

Submitted by on May 29, 2011 – 12:51 amNo Comment

Polar Bears Past Bedtime We all love Jack and Annie, the heroes from the Magic Tree House series! In their Polar Bears Past Bedtime book, Jack and Annie end up being whisked away to the frozen Arctic. Luckily, a seal hunter on a dogsled lends them warm clothes. Unluckily, they get stuck on cracking ice. Will the giant polar bear save them? Or will Jack and Annie become frozen dinners?

With luck, nobody becomes frozen dinner in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada, where the real polar bears gather every year. Tour companies take visitors out to see the bears on tundra buggies in October to mid-November.
